Xenia Andrienko

Ksenia Andrienko is a contemporary painter whose life has been shaped by art from the very beginning.

Born in Moscow into a family of professional artists, she grew up surrounded by colour, canvas, conversation, and creative discipline. Both of her parents are painters, and her mother runs an established art gallery in Moscow. Around her, creativity was not treated as a hobby or decoration, but as a serious language, one spoken daily through painting, architecture, design, and visual culture.

This early environment became the foundation of her artistic identity. From childhood, Ksenia was immersed in a world where beauty, form, and emotion were constantly observed, questioned, and translated into art. Her path was not a sudden decision, but a natural continuation of the world she was born into.

She later received a higher academic art education at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, also known as the Ilya Glazunov Academy, one of Russia’s respected institutions for classical artistic training. There, she refined her technical discipline while developing her own visual voice.

For Ksenia, painting is not simply the act of creating an image. It is a way of expressing inner states, emotion, memory, and atmosphere. Her work explores colour as a living force, a language capable of carrying feeling before words appear. Through her paintings, she creates spaces where emotion becomes visible and where the viewer is invited to pause, feel, and enter a more personal dialogue with the artwork.

Her pieces are held in private collections in Russia and internationally, and she has also created works through private commissions. Over the years, her paintings have been represented in art exhibitions and auctions in Moscow, including at the renowned Moscow gallery “The Personal.” These moments have allowed her work to move beyond the studio and enter a wider dialogue with collectors, curators, and art audiences.

Each painting carries her sensitivity to colour, balance, and emotional presence, reflecting both her academic training and her instinctive connection to art as a living, emotional language.

Ksenia currently lives and works in Dubai, where her artistic practice continues to evolve within a new cultural and architectural landscape. The city’s energy, contrasts, and international spirit have opened a new chapter in her work, allowing her to expand her visual language while remaining deeply connected to her artistic roots.

Alongside painting, she is also involved in interior design, bringing art into contemporary living spaces and creating environments where painting becomes part of daily life, not something distant or untouchable.

Her artwork is currently represented within the gallery of Star Gallery and has been featured in WL Magazine and Art & Investments, marking a growing recognition of her work across the region and beyond. Her work stands at the meeting point of heritage, emotion, and modern living, shaped by a deep artistic lineage and carried forward through her own personal vision.
